Black Country software company Syscom is to stage a live online 'webinar' later this month to enable firms to learn how to make the most of some of the latest software releases.

The Kingswinford-based company claims to be one of the first in the Midlands to regularly offer a 21st century communications forum - in a form which is already popular in the United States - as an effective way for businesses to keep up to date with what the market has to offer.

Syscom's online demonstration on Thursday will give an overview of Microsoft Dynamics via the internet, allowing those logged on to see how the software looks and works with the help of an expert guide.

"The problem," says John Moses, managing director of Syscom, "can be that many who are eager to find the best software for their business have very little time to spend doing this."

"This is the perfect opportunity for those thinking about reviewing their ERP business software to discover what Microsoft Dynamics can do for them.

"The webinar will let those logged on experience the look and feel of the software, as well as allowing them to ask a qualified Microsoft consultant any questions they may have. All you need is an internet connection and a phone."

Interactive online seminars and demonstrations - webinars - have proved popular in the United States as a means of communicating both verbally and visually with several individuals or organisations. Participants are sent a link through which they can download any necessary software and log in using their access code.

By calling in at the same time they are able to both view the demonstration or seminar and communicate with the organiser.

This 21st century take on the conference-call enables participants from anywhere in the world to gain valuable information without leaving their home or office.
