The Birmingham office of Positive Cashflow Finance is creating an additional 15 jobs over the next 18 months following a strong first quarter performance.
The office, which launched in November 2011, is currently working on its eighth deal.
David Totney, who joined the independent invoice financier to spearhead the launch of the company’s Birmingham office, said: “We have been blown away by the appetite for invoice finance in the Midlands.
"We set very ambitious goals and have surpassed them on all accounts in our first quarter as a business. The appointments, across all teams, will enable us to further develop our hands-on client approach and put our stamp the region.”
The strong start puts the office in line for reaching its goal to become the leading independent invoice finance provider in the Midlands. Positive provides flexible finance of up to £1 million for companies with a turnover of £100,000 to £10 million.
"It supports businesses with cashflow facilities and assists in funding buyouts, acquisitions and supplies working capital for businesses to pursue growth plans.
Mr Totney added: “The manufacturing sector has been driving a number of deals since cashflow is a central issue for manufacturers, particularly small and medium sized businesses.”
