Group of entrepreneurs launch professional support and advice network

A new business support and advice network – the Company Concierge Club – has been launched by a group of Staffordshire entrepreneurs promising a radically different approach to the services offered by other government-backed organisations.

Labour peer and former MP for West Bromwich East, Peter Snape has been appointed non-executive chairman, while comedian Nick Hancock has taken a non-executive directorship within the Company Concierge Club, based in Price Street, Cannock. Founded by Midland entrepreneur John Donnelly, business coach and motivational speaker Kevin Parr and financier and chartered accountant Ajay Dodhia, the Company Concierge Club is promising members no-nonsense professional advice from real people who understand the issues facing business leaders.

Members have access to a range of professional services such as legal support, business software solutions, IT and web support, people development, commercial finance, advice on buying and selling businesses and a programme of conferences and events.

A selection of health, holiday and lifestyle benefits are also available to members of the Company Concierge Club. One of the unique features is an opportunity for them and their team members to take part in a world-class wellness programme run by Dr Dorian Dugmore, who heads up Wellness International. On signing up, businesses will automatically qualify for a wellness profile and recommendations for two people.

A holiday travel club will also provide member companies with a range of exclusive deals for them and their employees, as well as access to luxury holiday homes in Florida and Spain.

More than 40 businesses throughout the region have already signed up for the Club, including EH Smith, Lloyds TSB, Elavon, Extra Personnel, Shakespeare Putsman, Rock Insurance and Taylor Woodrow Spain.

Mr Donnelly said: “These organisations not only recognise the importance of networking with like-minded members, but value the range of professional support services they can tap into.

“While organisations like Business Link provide general support and advice to companies, members of the Company Concierge Club will be able to gain quick and easy access to professional services as well as a host of “lifestyle” benefits.
