Inevitably, in the wake of speed dating comes speed networking.
Time is running out to sign up for it at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Annual Conference, Exhibition and Banquet.
The quickfire networking sessions will be held throughout the day at the ICC event on March 10, offering delegates the chance to meet their ideal business partner.
Each delegate will be given exactly one minute with every other delegate in the session, providing up to 30 opportunities to make a new contact, arrange another meeting or simply find out about another business.
The chamber's Lisa Ibbotson said: "Speed networking is hugely popular, and a fantastic way to get in front of a large number of potential customers and contacts in a short period of time.
"In the same way that speed dating can help you find true love, speed networking is genuinely effective at helping people establish new business."
