Around 400 jobs are to be created after a Midlandsbased spa company - whose clients include Robbie Williams, Catherine Zeta Jones and Clive Owen - announced a £40 million expansion.
Spa and Resort Operations - owners of the Eden Day spas based at the Hoar Cross Hall spa resort in Staffordshire and Eden Hall in Nottinghamshire - said the work would include the construction of a third spa planned at a currently undisclosed location in the West Midlands.
Other work to be carried out include a 65,000 square foot expansion at Hoar Cross Hall which will include a 26-metre salt water pool with four spa pools, relaxation cave, an aqua massage centre and detox steam sauna, saunarium rest areas, a gym extension, new aerobic studio, a new yoga suite, squash court and softball games area. The extension is due for completion this July.
There will also be an increase in day spa services at the Staffordshire site and the construction of a hotel in Nottinghamshire.
Steve Joynes, director of Spa & Resort Operations, said: "Our Eden Day spas have become renowned for being at the cutting edge of the spa market.
"It's an exciting time for us - we are looking to dramatically expand and diversify our product offering and sites.
"We are looking for a range of staff to join our team."
Both the Hoar Cross and Nottinghamshire spas are amongst the biggest in the UK.
The announcement follows the group's recent expansion of the Eden Day spa brand which included the opening of Eden Day spa at Hoar Cross earlier this year and the launch of Eden Hall Nottinghamshire in 2002.
The company currently employs 450 staff across its spa resort and day spas.
