A Birmingham solicitor has plucked up the courage to dive through the skies and seas in a ‘two dive challenge’ to help raise vital funds for life limited children.

Joanne Flack, of Martineau solicitors, Birmingham, will not only jump from 10,000 feet in an exhilarating tandem skydive, but also dive down to shark infested depths and get up close and personal with 10 foot-long sharks, all in aid of local charity, Acorns Children’s Hospice.

On September 4 at Hinton Airfield in Northamptonshire, the 29-year-old from Telford will be strapped to a trained skydive instructor before taking the 10,00 foot leap of faith and freefalling at 120mph.

She said: “I have always liked the idea of doing a skydive, but until now I’ve not been brave enough to put pen to paper and sign myself up! I’m very aware of Acorns’ fantastic and vital work, and the constant need to raise funding to support this great cause.”
