Stafford-based solicitor Pickering and Butters has reaffirmed its support for Katharine House Hospice, by choosing the organisation as its charity partner for 2012.
Last year, the practice helped to raise thousands of pounds for the hospice which helps and supports those who suffer from life-limiting conditions which cannot be cured.
Pickering and Butters was involved in many of the events organised by Katharine House Hospice, from purchasing tables at the ladies’ luncheon and the annual ball to co-sponsoring its golf day, ‘Swing for Katharine’ and ‘Card for Christmas’ campaign. It is also one of the local businesses which forms part of the TLC (Ten Local Companies) group of supporters of the hospice.
Will Johnson, partner at Pickering and Butters and trustee of Katharine House Hospice, said: “We have been involved with the charity for a long time, because of the fantastic work which it does – and 2012 will be no exception.”
