An exclusive community website has been established Worcestershire.
The concept of Talk Worcestershire is to bring together people from the county on the internet.
It is the brainchild of James Holden and Julia Cook, who spent more than a year researching social networking to give the county a community site.
A spokesperson for the venture said: “Talk Worcestershire’s aim is to play an important role in providing an online platform for the community. A place where you can have your say and share your interests through groups and forums that are easy to set up and simple to stay involved with.
“As the site develops and becomes more populated, it will be the place to pick up local news, and events, based on what the people of Worcestershire want to promote.”
Worcestershire pair Neil Verlander and Gigi Field have also been involved in founding the site, which will allow members and charities to register for free, allow people to ‘Twitter’ through their own status feed, post, view and review local events and share videos and photographs.
