Mills & Reeve has appointed Paul Slinger as a solicitor to further strengthen its construction arm.
Mr Slinger joins the law firm's Birmingham office from the technology and construction team within the dispute resolution group at Wragge & Co.
In his new role he will work on a mixture of dispute resolution and development work.
Mills & Reeve's Birmingham construction operation was established two years ago and has expanded in that time.
It is headed by partner Stuart Pemble and, following Mr Slinger's arrival, now consists of four fee earners including Martino Giaquinto and Ruth Phillips.
It also forms a key part of Mills & Reeve's 15-strong national construction practice, which is one of the largest outside of London.
Mr Pemble said: "The construction team's business has grown considerably since it was established two years ago. In 2005 we doubled our annual turnover, and we have appointed three new members of staff within a year. I am confident of further growth in 2006."
