Birmingham law- firm Shakespeares has announced an array of strategic promotions with the addition of three new associates - Lisa Galloway, Jayne Lynn and Michael Poulsom.
The news reflects the continuing growth of the law firm which now employs about 160 staff, including more than 80 fee earners.
Ms Galloway joined Shakespeares in 2004 as an assistant solicitor in the business-litigation team within the firm's 61-strong business services department.
During the past 12 months, she has strengthened her expertise across all areas of litigation including contract and financial services industry disputes and breach of franchise and distribution agreements.
Ms Lynn joined as an assistant solicitor in 2001 within the commercial litigation department, specialising in acquisitions and disposals in relation to both shares and businesses including dealing with acquisition finance, security and general company matters.
She has particular expertise in the franchise industry, dealing with resales of existing franchises, reviewing, drafting and negotiating franchise agreements, advising as to banking facilities and dealing with issues specific to the sector.
The commercial-property team welcomed Mr Poulsom in 2002.
During the past three years, he has focused on freehold and leasehold transactional work and ongoing portfolio management for businesses, property holding companies and charities.
