Security company Axis is to officially launch its new offices at the Longbridge site in Birmingham this week.
The company has taken on 100 employees at the offices on the site of the former MG Rover plant.
And Axis, which provides a range of security services to clients, said it plans to create more jobs over the next year.
The company works for Birmingham City Council to protect a number of city owned commercial premises.
The partnership began seven years ago when Temple Security, which was acquired by Axis Security, tendered to provide manned guarding services to sites.
Longbridge, formerly home to British Leyland, was once the biggest manufacturing plant in the world until the collapse of MG Rover in 2005.
St Modwen has since taken over the site for redevelopment and a number of businesses have been attracted to the site.
When Eco Concept bought struggling van maker LDV the company said operations would move to Longbridge.
