The young founders of an IT company are on the road to success less than two years after starting up.
Adam Beale and Andy Paterson, who are aged 27 and 30, set up internet business provider M69 in August 2003 after previously working together as IT consultants.
The company develops IT solutions for companies, including website and database design and internet server hosting, in addition to providing on going maintenance and advice for customers.
Clients include national property finding website Email 4 Property, online webguide UK250 and employment search engine JobsRock, which is currently running an advertising campaign on MTV.
Adam, who attended Coventry University, said: "We're thrilled things have gone so well since we started M69. We were both made redundant from our previous jobs and thought it was the perfect time to start our own company.
"IT is a difficult line of work in which to set up on your own, in terms of building up a client base, but we've been lucky enough to be taken on by some of our previous customers as well as developing a new client base."
The duo, who first ran the business from their homes, hope to expand M69 in the next few years after moving to the University of Warwick Science Park's Business Innovation Centre in Binley.
Adam, who relocated to Coventry after moving from Somerset to attend university, said they were pleased with the image the Innovation Centre address lends the company.
"We choose the Innovation Centre at Binley because it gives high-tech services in a modern setting, which gives the right impression and image for a technology- orientated company," he said.
"It also helps being surrounded by other likeminded companies who deal with the same line of work and with whom we are both looking forwarded to developing relationships in the future."
Karen Aston, manager of the Innovation Centre at Binley, said: "M69 has done extremely well in the relatively short time since it started up.
"Technology and innovation companies like M69 play a vital role in the local economy and the Business Innovation Centre is ideal for companies which can start out small and grow very rapidly.
"We offer a range of services that are geared towards assisting small and start-up companies such as short-term leases in a state of the art building and a wealth of experience via our and management business support service."
