Sutton Coldfield salon Trilogy has raised more than £1,700 for the RNLI with the help of more than 130 clients.

Directors Alexa Kelly, Lorraine Rimmer and Gill Lockley organised a benefit dinner on at Pier 39 in Sutton Coldfield with the help of valued customer and RNLI supporter Gill Brown.

Gill Brown has been raising funds for the RNLI for a number of years, raising over £190,000 for the charity in total.

For just £35 a ticket, excited guests were treated to wine on arrival and a three course meal.

Entertainment for the evening consisted of cabaret by a Rod Stewart look-a-like.

Ms Rimmer said: “We were worried no one would make it because the weather had been so unpredictable but it was a fantastic turnout in the end, our clients are already asking when the next event will be so I think we can call it a success.”
