Rolls-Royce yesterday signed an aero engine services agreement with United Parcel Service, the world's largest package delivery company.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Rolls-Royce will support the engines for UPS' 40 RB211-535 powered Boeing 757 aircraft for 15 years. The contract also covers work that would not be performed by UPS's own maintenance programme.
Services in the contract include engine fleet management, inventory management and repair and overhaul, among others.
