A Sutton Coldfield company raised more than £3,000 in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital through a charity ball.

Reflection Marketing has been established just 12 months and the ball, held at Lea Marston Hotel, was the first of what will be an annual event in aid of charities in the Midlands.

“Business has an important role to play in supporting the community and I believe we can make a real difference by organising an annual event that will help raise awareness of our chosen charity’s work and boost its fundraising,” said managing director Claire Nicholls.

“I’m delighted with the response to the inaugural Reflection Marketing Charity Ball and thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and guests we will be donating £3,013 to Birmingham Children’s Hospital in support of its Children’s Heart Appeal.”

While Birmingham Children’s Hospital will use its reserves to fund the majority of the £10 million investment required to create a second theatre and expand the ICU facilities, it still needs to raise £2 million towards the programme.
