Bridgnorth architect Vic Johnson (above) has won a contract to completely redesign the regional headquarters of the Red Cross in Wales.

Mr Johnson was awarded the work as the result of a major refurbishment he oversaw at the charity's Bridgnorth shop.

His company, the Johnson Design Partnership, was recently asked to remodel the high street outlet.

"This was the first of the charity's shops in the region to be refurbished and they were so pleased with the results that we have been asked to redesign the West regional head office in Llandudno," said Mr Johnson, who founded his company in Lasyard House five years ago.

"The headquarters were previously two large Victorian houses and we have totally redesigned them."
