A team of eight corporate banking staff have volunteered their time to paint and decorate at a Birmingham hospice.

The RBS employees, based in Brindleyplace, spent a day at the John Taylor Hospice in Erdington as part of the company’s community support programme.

Business analyst Sheila O’Mara said the day was beneficial and rewarding for staff.

“We have about 50 people in our team and we split into about five or six groups to take part in a number of different community events,” she said.
