A Midlands radio station is boosting its profile among its core audience in a six-week marketing drive at Birmingham City Council leisure centres.

From today, 100.7 Heart fm is branding lockers, mirrors, gym mats and T-shirts.

Aerobic and body conditioning classes will be staged to Heart fm Club Classics music.

Heart says the campaign is an extension of a £250,000 marketing campaign to promote its Club Classics shows.

Birmingham City Council's marketing officer for strategic sport Adam Snelleksz said the authority caters for people of all ages.

However the partnership with Heart fm was a great opportunity to target the station's young and energetic audience.
