One of Birmingham's most stylish hotels is joining forces with a leading cancer charity to organise a fashionable coffee morning in Birmingham.

The Radisson SAS Hotel in Beetham Tower will stage the charity event this Friday, September 28, as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning campaign.

VIP guests include Midlands Today presenters Nick Owen and Suzanne Virdee. The fundraiser, running from 10.30am to 1.30pm, aims to raise cash which will be used by Macmillan to help those living with cancer through practical, medical, emotional and financial support. Last year, events across the UK helped bring in a staggering #6.7million with more than two million people joining in nationwide events.

For a minimum donation of #1, guests can enjoy tea, coffee orange juice and Champagne, donated by Harvey Nichols Birmingham.

A raffle will also be staged at the Radisson SAS event and prizes include Christian Louboutin shoes courtesy of Harvey

Nichols, magnums of Champagne, Obsession Spa treatments, a weekend at Disneyland, limited edition artwork and stays at hotels in Dublin, Krakow and Belfast.

"This coffee morning will be a great chance to get together with friends, enjoy Italian treats over a few cuppas and raise money for such a worthwhile cause," said Kathrine Ohm Thomas, general manager of the Radisson SAS hotel.
