Staff at a Midland office of a national law firm have donated food to the Black Country Foodbank.

QualitySolicitors Talbots ran a donation scheme at its two Stourbridge offices over two weeks to help vulnerable individuals and families in crisis.

Due to the success of the appeal, the firm plans to promote the scheme across its six Midland sites on a regular basis.

Black Country Foodbank, based in Stourbridge, has handed out emergency food parcels to nearly 19,000 people over the last six years.

Martyn Morgan, senior partner at QualitySolicitors Talbots, said: “It is staggering to think that in this day and age, there are people in our community who struggle to eat properly every day.

“It goes without saying that we – and our staff – were more than happy to support Foodbank”.
