Twenty-five youngsters from Tividale Community Primary School in West Bromwich took part in a session to understand more about finances.

During the Barclays Money Skills session the students learned useful tools to help them manage their money including budgeting, spending and saving.

Local MP Adrian Bailey also dropped in to meet the young people and offer his thoughts on the importance of sensible money management.

Mr Bailey said: “It has never been more important for young people to have the knowledge they need to make confident and informed choices about their finances. It’s great to see Barclays working to change young people’s financial futures.”

Barclays Money Skills is a national programme funded by Barclays to provide free financial capability training to young people.
