Not-for-profit organisation Aspire4u has launched a new project to help jobless youngsters to learn new skills while gaining an understanding of other cultures.
The INSPIRE Project, funded by Awards For All, will provide 20 unemployed young people with the opportunity to undertake a series of practical training sessions in either fashion design, photography or graphic design.
They will use their new skills to produce culturally inspired garments, information booklets and photographs.
Project administrator Leanne Levers said: “Our aim is for the project to encourage the youths to pursue further education, vocational training or set up their own enterprises.”
