The Barclays Premiership Trophy will be on display at a major manufacturing summit to be held in Telford later this month.
The heavily guarded trophy will take pride of place on the Barclays stand at The Manufacturer Live 2005 event to be held at the International Centre, Telford on September 28 and 29.
Barclays is the main sponsor of the event, which is expected to attract more than 2000 decision makers from manufacturing industry throughout the UK.
Glen White, group chief executive of organisers Conquest Business Media, said he was delighted the trophy would be on display.
He said: "This will be a great crowd pleaser for the attendees.
"It is a reminder not just that Barclays is the main sponsor of this event, but also that manufacturing in this country has a blue chip backer from the finance sector that is helping many companies prosper in the tough global marketplace."
Attendees at the two-day Manufacturer Live 2005 event will get the chance to hear from more than 50 speakers from leading companies hosting manufacturertomanufacturer workshops, seminars and debates on the big issues in United Kingdom manufacturing.
Senior figures from BAE Systems, Unipart, Siemens, Airbus UK, Rolls Royce, Microsoft, and Boots will be among the dozens of speakers delivering presentations on all aspects of the manufacturing process.
The event, which is supported by the Department Trade and Industry, will offer manufacturers the chance to learn from their peers and share their own best practice, and will include the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year Awards.
