West Midlands firm PPS Equipment Management has moved to a new office in Tamworth.

PPS has relocated from Lichfield Road Industrial Estate to larger premises at Amber Business Village in Amington on the back of two major contract wins.

Established in 2001 by Iain McArthur and David Peggie the firm supplies the food and drink, pharmaceutical, healthcare and logistics sectors.

As well as the provision of pallets and crates, it also provides an equipment collection service, washing and sterilising, and an online system to track and control the movement of equipment.

Mr McArthur said: "By establishing a new head office in Tamworth we are hoping we can continue to raise the profile of the company, while at the same time retain a strong foothold in the Midlands from which we can coordinate the nationwide distribution of our products and services."

Mr McArthur said the company was currently in the process of developing a number of new products, which it hoped to launch in the next few months.

PPS recently won two contracts to supply equipment to the Grampian Country Food Group and a multinational healthcare company.

Mr McArthur added: "The contract wins have been a key driver for the business and the importance of the new head office location will become increasingly apparent."
