Chartered town planner Neil Crowther has created a new consultancy to provide independent planning advice for developers and housebuilders.

Mr Crowther has moved from leading architectural practice BBLB to create Planning Cubed.

Prior to this he was with Jowitt Associates, Barton Willmore and before this he was part of the major projects team at Birmingham City Council.

"Planning has become an increasingly complex process for many developers and landowners in recent years.

"Our aim is to provide a comprehensive approach that begins with effective pre-application discussions with the Council and follows through the process so that our clients submit applications with the greatest possible chance of success," he said.

"Generally, the number of planning appeals has been increasing and this new consultancy will allow me to follow projects from the outset into appeal, where an acceptable outcome has not been obtained, and to act as an expert witness at inquiry's when necessary."

Planning Cubed has already provided services to clients such as Grevayne Properties, Chord Developments, Manton Estates and Landstone Homes.
