The Birmingham office of PKF Accountants & business advisers has raised more than £12,000 for Marie Curie’s Big Build project over the past twelve months.
The team collected £12,312.50 through a range of regular fund raising activities such as monthly dress down day and bigger events which included a sponsored abseil, a quiz night and a raffle.
The charity has already raised half the £7 million needed to build & equip a new Marie Curie Hospice for the West Midlands in Solihull.
The new hospice will replace the charity’s existing Solihull hospice and support hundreds more patients and their loved ones.
