You will go the ball.

Or at least you've got a chance to attend...with accountant and business adviser PKF unveiled as sponsor for the Birmingham Press Club Ball for the second year running.

The news comes as a new line-up to lead the press club was revealed.

Simon Littlejohns, tax partner at PKF's Birmingham office, said: "We were delighted with last year's sell- out and we look forward to a similar event in November."

He said association with the press club was in line with PKF's drive to boost its profile in the city and the region as a provider of business advice.

A press club spokesman welcomed PKF's involvement, saying the backing of sponsors was crucial to the event.

He spoke as the club announced the new members of its top team.

Events and sponsorship fall to: Kay Cadman ( director); Fred Bromwich; Tony Flanagan; Andrew Sparrow; Dominga De La Cruz and Fay Goodman.
