Corporate teams have already signed up to compete in the Acorns Business Challenge.

Sponsors PwC, last year's winners, will be lining up on Monday, October 30th, with HBJ Gateley Wareing and The Cube, The Mailbox, Chase Midland plc, Smart New Homes, Lloyds TSB, Bucknall Austin, Challinors Blizzard, Smart, Spellar Metcalfe and Wragge & Co.

The property industry will pit its wits against the world of finance and legal in the fourth challenge taking place at the Birmingham headquarters of PwC, its 2006 sponsor. The challenge has raised £28,000 to date for Acorns Children's Hospice which is dedicated to supporting terminally ill children and their families.

The board game simulates running a business with the winning contestant being the first to reach a profit target and awarded with a Teamworks Karting session for the entire team. Every team which enters gets a free trial run at Birmingham's only electric karting venue.

Any firm connected to the property, legal and financial industries is invited to enter a team of six for £1,000. Call Angela Podmore on 07786 934 935 for details
