Midlands-based EIC has scooped a contract for a Solihull PFI.

The scheme is two projects - mechanical and electrical installation at a new leisure centre, Tudor Grange, and replacement work at North Solihull leisure centre.

The £2.8 m contract was awarded by Leadbitter Construction and is due to start in November.

Tudor Grange is an eight-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, learner pool, diving pool, indoor tennis centre, aerobics and fitness studios and cafe/restaurant.

Work includes the installation of power, lighting, public address, fire alarm and security systems, heating, ventilation and a pool vent system, air conditioning, hot and cold water services.

Nigel Le Marechal, EIC joint managing director said: "The scheme follows work undertaken with Leadbitters."
