Night staff at a Midland distribution hub have raised more than £600 for a breast cancer awareness campaign.

Workers at Wolverhampton based freight company Pallet-Track swapped their orange hi-vis vests for pink ones and donated to the Breast Cancer Campaign charity on Wear It Pink day.

Pallet-Track marketing administrator Elaine Andersen said: “The night was a great success, with all of the night staff in their pink high-vis jackets, the trunk drivers gave very generously and there was a real sense of camaraderie with us all working together for an incredible cause.

“Pallet-Track is a major employer in the area and has supported Wear it Pink day before. We try to get people involved in a fun way to get across this very serious message.”
