An award-winning West Midlands computer software company is launching a new software package that gives small and medium-size businesses access to powerful tailor-made business tools that previously only large companies could afford.
Senokian Solutions, based at the Business Innovation Centre at Binley Business Park, Coventry, has spent three years developing the software package which has been trialled in several business sectors.
The company claims to be the UK's leading supplier of integrated open source business systems, which means that clients can download Senokian's new product from an internet website free of charge.
"Normally companies would have to spend thousands of pounds for licences," said Senokian's managing director, Jake Stride.
"Open source gives companies access to sophisticated software at no charge, and we can tailor the package - and offer training - to meet the individual needs for each company."
Called EGS (Enterprise Groupware Systems) the new package supports companies planning to build and sustain customer relationships through internal customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning and accounting software.
EGS offers modules that collect vital customer data, track order histories, view pipelines and build individual customer profiles. The modules integrate enterprise resource planning and enable online purchasing, as well as document management, group calendaring, and warehouse management.
"A key advantage of EGS is that is completely web-based. This allows managers to monitor, query or update the system while out of the office," Mr Stride added.
"We have been developing the software for three years and trials have shown it can be a huge benefit to small and medium size companies. EGS is a state-of-the art product that will help to keep our clients ahead of the competition."
Senokian Solutions recently won a Heart of England Excellence and Tourism award for designing and building a website for the Godiva Awards.
The company offers consultancy, implementation and training on a range of subjects.
