THE search for PA of the Year 2008 will end tonight as the winner is announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
Sponsored by Tirebuck Career Solutions, PA networking association Pears, and the Birmingham Post, the event aims to honour the top organisers in the industry, and to stand as a monument to the hard work and dedication of PAs across the business and public sectors in the West Midlands.
This year’s bash will feature a reception, three-course dinner, awards presentation, charity raffle, and dancing until midnight, with the winner receiving a seven-night holiday for two to North Cyprus – provided by Anatolian Sky Holidays.

Birmingham-based live events company PSP will provide audio-visual equipment for PA of the Year 2008.
The company has launched Animotion Live – a revolutionary system which provides real time on-screen animated characters for live events, enabling a virtual character to interact live with the audience in real time.
The system has already been used to host an event with Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple Computers) where a virtual ‘humanoid’ was interviewed.
