A nursery in Wordsley, Stourbridge, are proud owners of brand new car parking facilities, courtesy of house builder, Persimmon Homes.
Persimmon is currently building at its Crystal Mead development in Wordsley, near the site of Rainbow Nursery on Stream Road. Staff from Persimmon installed the car park as part of development of the site and it will be used by parents when they drop off and collect their children.
Sharon Monkton, owner and manager of the Rainbow Nursery, said: “Persimmon site staff have really looked after us since they started working on the development. They have been more than happy to answer questions the youngsters have about the building process.
“In fact, so insatiable has the children’s appetite been for watching the builders at work that we have incorporated this subject into learning activities at nursery!
“Everyone here is so grateful for the new car park that when it was finished off, the children thought it would be a nice gesture to present the builders with a ‘thank you’ card and they even sang the ‘Bob the Builder’ theme tune to them!”
