A marketing agency gave light relief to parents in two UK retail parks - in a bid to boost the profile of their clients.

Seal Communications, based on Fleet Street, Birmingham, treated children at Greenbridge Shopping Park in Swindon and Regent Arcade in Cheltenham to a shopping experience with a twist.

The company staged two summer schools to involve the retail parks in the community, increase links between retailers, increase dwell time, footfall and add value to customer experience.

Nikki Gooch, account manager at Seal, said: "We have developed a strong presence in the retail sector and the campaigns we're developing are not only increasing footfall but also adding value to the overall customer experience."

She said chaperones were provided where necessary and police accreditation of all people involved was carried out.

The initiative "Keeping Kids Active'"at Greenbridge was Seal's idea to entertain children aged five to 11.
