Around 30 new jobs are to be created in Solihull with the opening of a new TK Maxx store in the town centre.

The 16,000 sq ft complex, combining the ex-Bonmarche and Pure Party stores, will open next spring in a “significant anchor letting” for the centre.

TK Maxx spokeswoman Helen Gunter said: “We are very excited to be opening up a new store in Solihull. We’ve created a boutique feel to the store to create a more intimate shopping experience that’s in keeping with a smaller store environment.”

Mell Square Centre Director Paul Round said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming TK Maxx to Mell Square, adding to the centre’s already strong offering.

“TK Maxx is a leading international retailer offering designer pieces at affordable prices, and its arrival in Solihull boosts not only the town’s economy but also its fashion landscape.”
