A small family business has grown so fast in its first two years it has bought freehold premises in Alcester to service its next phase of expansion.

Easy Truck Material Handling was launched in 2008 by husband and wife team Kevin and Georgina Ryan with advice from Kevin’s father John Ryan.

Now they have added two more staff and are on the hunt for another engineer to service their growing client list.

The business provides sales, hire and servicing of fork lift truck equipment for companies throughout the Midlands

Easy Truck was originally launched from the rear of another factory but so successful has it been that Kevin and Georgina took the decision to purchase their first premises.

Redditch business property consultant John Truslove sold the freehold of the 3,179 sq ft Unit 15, Arden Business Centre, Arden Road, Alcester on behalf of GAE Properties.

Kevin Ryan said: “Our slogan is ‘Large enough to cope, small enough to care’ and we are passionate about customer service.

“This is what has fuelled our growth and we are ramping up the business for the next stage of our expansion. Our strengths lie in the relationships we build with customers, providing the right tool for the job. The decision to buy our own premises has given us security and John Truslove helped us at every stage of the purchase.”

Ian Parker of John Truslove said: “It was a real pleasure to help a growing business take its next big step and we wish Kevin and Georgina continued success in what is a very competitive market.”
