Work has started on a new fine dining Indian restaurant and cocktail bar in Sutton Coldfield.
Bhujon Cocktail Bar and Dining, Lichfield Road, Mere Green, is to open its doors in April on the site of former restaurant Pier 39, with the creation of 15 jobs.
Business partners are to spend £50,000 on the new venue and the menu will mostly feature North Indian cuisine.
Sadiq Zaman, partner at Bhujon, said: “I’ve been wanting to open my own restaurant for many years now.
“I have saved long and also built-up a wealth of knowledge through many different Indian restaurants that I’ve worked for across Birmingham.
“This eye opening career has enabled me to understand the ingredients required to bring fine dining to Indian cuisine.
“I appreciate the elements that make a restaurant and have employed the support of renowned chefs, bar staff and floor staff.”
