A new convenience store is to open on a suburban Birmingham high street creating up to ten jobs.
Business partners Mandeep Bains and Rupinder Sanghera have invested £200,000 in their Simply Fresh shop on Boldmere Road, Sutton Coldfield, which is due to open in March.
The Simply Fresh franchise, which sells local produce “wherever practical”, already has four shops in Birmingham and the Boldmere store will be the 40th in the UK.
Mr Bains said: “With all the recent food related issues in the convenience sector and health concerns, we think Simply Fresh with its fresh, organic approach is the future of food retailing.
“We’re excited for the launch and to get the whole community involved.”
