EDM Group, the independent electronic document management firm, has strengthened its Wolverhampton team with the senior appointments of Steve Bewick as bureau sales director and Steve Massey as logistics manager.
Mr Bewick, who has been involved in the provision of business-to-business services for more than 15 years, was previously a director at Group 4 Securicor, with responsibility for the provision of integrated security solutions.
Therer he worked with a number of blue chip companies including Lloyds of London and the UK Passport Office where he managed and coordinated the deployment of a nationwide security improvement.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the direction and management of the bureau sales team at EDM.
The EDM Group provides businesses with innovative ways of affordable and efficient electronic document management, helping them to electronically manage and store legally required documents.
Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Bewick said: "Having spent a number of years in the security industry, I felt the market was no longer presenting the kind of challenges and opportunities that I was looking for.
"With the advent of more intuitive IT solutions, the storage and retrieval of files, both paper and electronic, is becoming an increasingly important issue for businesses.
"I am confident that the EDM Group has huge growth potential and am excited to be taking on this new and exciting role."
Joining Bewick in the Wolverhampton site is Steve Massey. He has joined the team to become the first ever logistics manager at the Wolverhampton branch, having previously spent seven years as a purchasing and logistics manager for Rolls Royce.
In his new role, Steve is now responsible for a fleet of 15 commercial vehicles, 30 staff and two off-site warehouses.
