Accountants, solicitors, property consultants and construction companies are the latest to register for the Never Mind the Business quiz on Wednesday November 26 at the Slug and Lettuce in Brindleyplace.

Businesses will be raising funds to support over 24,000 people with a learning disability in Birmingham. Each year Mencap in the Midlands must raise £950,000 to support these vital services in the region.

BAM Construction Ltd is the latest company to register. Project Manager Ian French of BAM said: “When we heard about Never Mind the Business we wanted to lend our support. It’s great for us. By taking part we can have a really enjoyable evening and help support Mencap’s fantastic work in Birmingham at the same time.”

BAM have been involved in the construction of five of the ten buildings in Brindleyplace and are approaching the last stages of the final phase of the Estate; the 107,000sq ft office building Eleven Brindleyplace for Argent, one of the sponsors of Never Mind the Business.

Kate Gregson, marketing and PR manager at Brindleyplace said: “We wish for companies from all sectors to be taking part to create a real competitive edge. It will be interesting to see which sector comes out top! More and more teams are signing up so please register as soon as possible so you do not miss your chance.”
