Midland entrepreneurs Tim Watts and Nigel Bacon have been appointed to the board of Network Group Holding following a reorganisation and the acquisition of Pertemps People Development Group.
Dr Watts, a Fellow of the REC (Recruitment Employment Confederation), has been appointed as chief executive and Mr Bacon has taken on the role of financial director in the group.
Dr Watts, formerly chairman and chief executive of Pertemps, has over 40 years’ experience in the recruitment industry and has been instrumental in the national growth of Pertemps Group.
He said on Thursday: “The decision to make the move to chief executive of Network Group has been the culmination of my 40-year career within recruitment and the Pertemps Group.
“I will be looking to the future and growth of the group. Our aim is to become a major force in the recruitment industry through key acquisitions and mergers over the next few years”.
The appointments have been fully supported by the existing board, which consists of Christopher Ross, Mike Owen, Jon Smith, Barrie Clark, Colin Birchall and John Smith.
