Employees from The NEC Group have marked another successful year of fundraising, handing a cheque for over £25,000 to The Prostate Cancer Charity.

Throughout the year, employees from across the company took part in a number of different fundraising activities, from mental and physical challenges, to a five kilometre trek and a charity shave.

The cheque for £27,569.20 was presented to Lisa Clark from The Prostate Cancer Charity by NEC Group Chief Executive Paul Thandi.

Paul said: "TOur employees go out of their way to support The NEC Group's chosen charity and I would like to extend my thanks to our amazing team."

The Prostate Cancer Charity's Corporate Partnerships Assistant, Lisa Clark said: "This is an incredible amount and we have been very lucky to have worked with The NEC.

"I would like to give special thanks to Nadine Donald for her incredible commitment to the charity. The money raised means that we can continue to support the men and their families affected by prostate cancer in Birmingham and the UK."

As part of The NEC Group's ongoing Corporate Responsibility strategy, the company will also be contributing a further £3,000 to the Charity.
