Accountants Grant Thornton have strengthened their Birmingham operation with the appointment of Morgan Montgomery as VAT manager.
Mr Montgomery joins from KPMG and has also worked for HMRC and Ernst & Young.
He is no stranger to Grant Thornton having spent two years at its Oxford office in 2003, working with higher education bodies, housing associations and motor retailers.
He also has expertise advising businesses involved with international supply chains and overseas processing of goods.

His new role will focus on complex tax matters, growing the business and building up the Birmingham offices' profile within the Midlands.
