PKF has boosted its corporate finance team in Birmingham with the arrival of partner Paul Thompson, a private equity specialist experienced in all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and management buyouts.
Mr Thompson was previously based at PKF in Nottingham, which he joined in 2004 and he will now have a dual role being based out of Birmingham and Nottingham.
PKF partner Malcolm Cook, head of the firm's corporate finance team in Birmingham, said: " Paul Thompson brings with him a breadth of experience which will enable PKF to enhance its service offering and reinforces the firm's position in the West Midlands' corporate finance marketplace."
He has worked for over eight years in the Midlands, focused purely on advising companies and management teams on mergers and acquisitions issues, initially with BDO and latterly with Ernst & Young.

PKF Corporate Finance in Birmingham recently advised the management of Direct Laboratory Services in Wolverhamptonon the company's sale to Eurofins Laboratories, a UK subsidiary of quoted French company Eurofins Scientific.
