A Midland manufacturer has won nearly £400,000 worth of orders for nine Birmingham schools.

HME Technology, based in Bromsgrove, is a supplier and installer of design and technology and science equipment.

Julian Davis, managing director, said: “This is very significant for an SME like ourselves and we are confident of picking up further such contracts.

The nine secondaries are Park View Business & Enterprise School; specialist arts complex Birmingham Ormiston Academy; Broadway School, with its campus in Perry Barr; Stockland Green Technology College; the International School and Community College; Holte, Mayfield & Lozells School; Shenley Academy; Heartlands Academy; and George Dixon International School and Sixth Form Centre.
