The UK and Ireland managing director of Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe has been promoted to Vice-President Consumer Business Unit EU.

Mark Brickhill, who joined Goodyear Dunlop from Procter & Gamble in 2006, will move to the company’s Brussels office, continuing to report to Arthur De Bok, President EMEA.

Mr De Bok said: “Since joining the company, Mark has provided significant leadership in the reorganization of the UK business.  This experience as well as his strong marketing background will be beneficial in the new role as we go through significant market changes”

George Rietbergen, currently General Manager Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, is appointed as the new Managing Director UK and Ireland, replacing Mr Brickhill.  

Mr Rietbergen joined Goodyear Dunlop from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as Director, E-Business in 2001. In 2003 he was promoted to Retail Director, responsible for over 1800 franchised stores in Europe. In 2005, he was appointed General Manager for the BeNeLux cluster.
