A conference on Rapid Manufacturing techniques will take place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena in October.

The TCT 2008 Rapid Manufacturing (RM) conference, which takes place between October 21-22, is recognised as the global meeting place for discussions on RM.

The event will allow manufacturers to learn first-hand about the ability to use RM as a mainstream production technique.

The programme will give attendees pertinent information when examining RM processes for their own applications.

This year’s speakers include: Geoff Hollington, of Barron Gould Hollington; Bob Hemmings, of Assystem UK; Eric Jones, of Stryker; Paul du Plessis, of Saab Avitronics; Lionel Dean, of Future Factories, and Max Ruffo, from the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing.
Industry expert Terry Wohlers will present the keynote address entitled An Outlook to Endless Possibilities.

Both days of the show will conclude with a panel review session.
