Midland engineering firm AMI Blaymires has collapsed into administration.

Administrators John Whitfield and Matt Ingram of Birmingham-based Duff & Phelps have been appointed joint administrators for the Lye-based company which went into administration on Friday March 9.

A spokesman for the administrators said no redundancies have been made among the 40 members of staff currently.

He added: “The company is trading with a view to selling it as a going concern. It is open for business”

The company is involved with pressings, tool-making and laser cutting and counts JCB among its customers.
