Birmingham inventor Martin O’Donnell has proved that it’s still possible to get cash needed to start and grow a business – and even create jobs at the same time.
Now, after raising just over £500,000 worth of funding to put his latest idea into production, the chief executive of Green Innovations Ltd is hoping to see his eco-friendly device for bleeding radiators – the ‘Easybleed’™ – on the shelves of DIY stores within weeks.
With backing from Business Link in the West Midlands, not only has the idea helped him create three jobs in his organisation but it has secured others at manufacturers Springfield Tools and PJS Mouldings in the West Midlands.
A former environmental marketing specialist, Martin invented the ‘Easybleed’™ as a solution to the age-old domestic task of bleeding radiators.
