Music was the food of lunch when engineering business IMI staged a free lunchtime concert for its staff and neighbours of Birmingham Business Park.

Now in their third year, IMI's lunchtime socials have proved extremely popular and following rave reviews in 2004 and 2005, the Brass Quintet from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra was called upon to perform for the third year running.

IMI has been a supporter of the symphony orchestra for more than 30 years and organised all three events with the assistance of business park owners, Arlington.

Graham Truscott, communications director at IMI, said: "As a long term supporter of the CBSO we are delighted to introduce the organisation for the third year running.

"It really is refreshing to bring art and commerce together, even more so when it provides a retreat from the working day.

"Listening to music from the CBSO is always a great pleasure and we look forward to welcoming them back next year."
